Our approach

Our approach

We work collaboratively with our partners to strengthen internal capacities for change. By providing tailored guidance and support, we aim to elevate the quality of educational practices at all levels. Our goal is to create environments where children and young people can explore, create, and feel a strong sense of belonging, leading meaningful lives.
Our history

Our history

IMTEC originated as a leadership training project within the OECD in the 1970s, focusing on educational leadership development. In 1977, Per Dalin established IMTEC as a Norwegian foundation, aiming to work internationally on school development, contribute to knowledge advancement through conferences and publications, and support educational progress in Norway.
