The National Leadership Training for Kindergarten…

We are pleased to welcome 60 students to the National Leadership Training for Kindergarten Directors at OsloMet. In this program, Stiftelsen IMTEC collaborates with OsloMet and Høgskolen i Innlandet. IMTEC's role includes delivering lectures, serving as process facilitators, and providing both leadership and written guidance on assignments. 

A competent, engaged, and confident kindergarten leadership, spearheaded by the director, significantly influences professional collaboration, pedagogical practices, and positive development and learning for all children. Kindergarten directors face numerous demands and diverse leadership tasks. Enhanced competence and effective tools will assist directors in addressing the key challenges ahead. 

Through an understanding of organizational and leadership theory, practical exercises, and reflection on personal leadership experiences and challenges, students will gain clarity in their leadership roles and increased confidence to fulfill them. A central theme throughout the educational journey is the development of one's identity as a leader. The program emphasizes bridging theory with experiential knowledge. Our goal is for students to advance their competence in transforming kindergartens into learning and adaptable organizations. The study is practice-oriented, ensuring that students can easily relate their learning to their daily work environments.
