In collaboration with OsloMet, IMTEC offers the "Pedagogical Leadership and Development" (PULS-15) program, a part-time, semester-based course designed for pedagogical leaders and kindergarten teachers. This program aims to enhance leadership skills to meet the current demands in early childhood education.
Program Highlights
Duration: Three semesters, part-time.
Credits: 15 ECTS credits.
Format: Primarily campus-based with some online components.
Location: Sandefjord, Norway.
Learning Approach
The program employs a practical and varied teaching methodology, including:
- Lectures, Seminars, and Workshops: Engaging sessions led by experienced educators.
- Group Work and Individual Assignments: Opportunities for collaborative and independent learning.
- Guidance and Self-Study: Supportive resources to facilitate personal development.
Participants are expected to actively engage in their learning processes between sessions and reflect on their experiences through a learning log. Communication with peers and instructors is facilitated via OsloMet's digital learning platform, Canvas, which is also used for submitting and assessing assignments.
