National Principal Education – 30 ECTS Credits

In collaboration with OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University and Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, IMTEC offers the National Principal Education program, commissioned by the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training.

Program Overview

This program is designed to enhance the leadership competencies of school leaders, including principals, assistant principals, and department heads. It aligns with the national framework for school leadership and is part of the state-funded national principal education initiative.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • - Reflect on and develop their leadership skills.
  • - Apply research-based knowledge and insights from their own schools to drive organizational development.

- Implement strategies to improve student learning outcomes.

Program Structure

  • Duration: Three semesters.

Format: Includes sessions lasting 2–3 days each.
